This presentation will provide an overview of the rationale for producing biofuels with forests as well as the current knowledge of planting, controlling competition, fertilization, and harvesting techniques for forest-based biofuels. Emphasis will be placed on cottonwood, eucalyptus, and switchgrass as forest-based biofuel crops.
