Provision of supplemental feed is a common management practice in Texas. Because all management practices have positive and negative aspects, it is important for deer managers to understand implications of supplementing deer if they are considering a feed program. This presentation reviews the pros and cons of providing supplemental feed to deer in Texas rangelands.
